Services

  • I help prospective DBA students navigate the selection and application process with clarity and confidence. In one-on-one coaching sessions, I work with you to identify programs that fit your professional background, research interests, and career goals. This includes guidance on personal statements, research statements, CVs, and interview preparation, so your application tells a coherent and compelling story rather than feeling pieced together.

  • I provide ongoing dissertation and research mentoring through scheduled 1:1 sessions, focused on helping you make steady, defensible progress. I work with you on refining research questions, aligning theory and hypotheses, structuring studies, interpreting results, and navigating methodological decisions as they arise. The goal is not just to “get through” the dissertation, but to produce research you genuinely understand and can confidently defend.

  • I help DBA students translate research ideas into rigorous, defensible experimental designs that align with theory, hypotheses, and dissertation standards. In one-on-one coaching sessions, we work through design choices such as between- vs. within-subjects structures, manipulations versus measured variables, moderators and mediators, and power considerations. I help students refine a vague “survey study” into a clean experiment that can withstand committee and reviewer scrutiny.

  • I provide hands-on guidance in building professional, error-free surveys in Qualtrics that are suitable for experimental research. This includes survey flow, randomization, embedded data, branching logic, attention checks, and stimulus presentation. During live sessions, we build and test your survey together, ensuring it works exactly as intended for real participants rather than just on paper.

  • I coach students on how to properly configure, launch, monitor, and troubleshoot studies using CloudResearch Connect. This includes setting quotas, managing exclusions, handling partial payments, interpreting panel diagnostics, and resolving common data-quality issues. For example, I help students move from “I launched a study” to “I know my sample is valid, balanced, and defensible.”

  • I help students clean, structure, and prepare raw data in Excel so it can be analyzed correctly in SPSS. This includes recoding variables, creating composites, labeling values, and ensuring compatibility with PROCESS macros. Think of this as turning a messy spreadsheet into a clean dataset ready for SPSS analysis without introducing errors.

  • I coach students on how to clearly and confidently explain their research to committees and academic audiences. This includes structuring the narrative, anticipating committee questions, and translating complex analyses into understandable explanations. In sessions, we rehearse sections of your defense, so you are not just statistically correct, but also persuasive and composed.

  • I help students design clean, professional slides that support, not overwhelm, their spoken explanation. This includes deciding what belongs on a slide versus what should be said verbally, organizing results logically, and visually presenting models and findings. For example, I help students move from text-heavy slides to visuals that communicate theory and results in seconds.

  • I provide detailed, constructive feedback on dissertation drafts with a focus on clarity, logic, and theoretical alignment. This is not copyediting; it is scholarly coaching. I help students strengthen arguments, tighten hypotheses, improve method descriptions, and ensure results are interpreted appropriately. The goal is to help your writing think more like a reviewer or committee member.

  • I work with DBA graduates who want to translate their doctoral training into meaningful professional outcomes. Through individualized coaching, I help you think through how your research, methods expertise, and scholarly credibility can support leadership roles, consulting work, teaching opportunities, or thought leadership. Whether you are redefining your professional identity or expanding your impact, I help you make intentional next-step decisions grounded in your doctoral experience.

  • I help DBA students thoughtfully and ethically incorporate AI tools such as ChatGPT, Google NotebookLM, Elicit, Scite, and Perplexity, into their doctoral work to improve efficiency without compromising academic integrity. In one-on-one coaching sessions, I show you how to use these tools for tasks like clarifying theory, organizing literature, refining research questions, outlining arguments, and sense-checking analyses, while avoiding inappropriate uses such as ghostwriting or unsupported citation generation. The focus is on augmentation, not substitution: using AI as a thinking partner, research assistant, and organizational aid that strengthens your own scholarly reasoning and voice. I also help you align AI use with institutional policies, IRB expectations, and committee norms so you can work faster, smarter, and with confidence that your work remains fully your own.
